WHY IS MY HORSE...?
I think those are quality giveaways. I honestly prefer stuff like breast collar and saddles from https://ropingsupply.co/collections/breast-collar-and-trippin-collars . I’ve been a customer of theirs for years now.
Stacy thank you for taking the time to do these podcasts and sharing them! It is great to learn from you and I enjoyed all of the topics you covered.
Stacy, thank you for these podcasts, esp. the one about fear vs danger. As someone who has taken a couple some really hard falls, getting my confidence back has been extremely difficult and slow. I now own a pretty solid QH and he takes good care of me but I still have that lingering voice in the back of my head that says, “What if … ” It can completely ruin my ride. I’m looking forward to moving past that with your help!
I love the pod casts. Actually the first time i have ever listened to one. I have asked myself of the stages of where i am at with training my horses. I am a long time barrel racer, but i also have a sweet little horse that loves the reining and so do I. First time i have ventured into that area, and he has made it easy for me to learn, how to train some cute buttons on him. I will call them buttons as in both cases barrels, and reining i seem to put a nice mouth on them, sweet leg yields, lifts, turns, and i can draw about a foot long #11 on the slide stop. My spin will never make you dizzy, but it is nice… So listening to the pod cast, that is the good for #2 session, Bad thing for me is pushing all these hard long hours of buttons to actual show level. I get stuck… Getting that last little finish to the whole package. I don’t think it is fear, maybe a bit as back in the day… I had a barrel\pole horse that that i trained and was a perfection of a run every time. I don’t think i will ever get that horse again. Again listening to the pod the psychological end of it i get. Im going to work on that to try and get un stuck. Any other suggestion you may have are appreciated. And i may see you in the future. I truly want to finish this. And thank you for taking the time to let us into your mind.
