    Why not just enjoy your horse from the ground? You don’t have to ride to love your horse.

      I will sell or give my horse away when I cannot lift the saddle and tack him up anymore…

    I didn’t sell my two horses, I gave them two girls who wanted horses as much as I did when I was their age but I was denied. It was one of the best things I have done. To watch them ride was a real blessing.

    When you can not help, or control your horse any more. Or when that horse has instilled a fear in you that you can not over come. It’s a hard and horrible decision to make, but you must do what’s best for the horse. Best of luck!!
