His ways are not our ways…. We cannot know His reasons. We are all saddened by the loss of this great horse. May he gallop forever with the angels in heaven.
I too lost a stallion to wobblers. I couldn’t breathe when I went to the barn and found him.

Exactly what you did Stacie. A tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. RIP Vaquero, RIP.

I pray the myelogram tomorrow gives you an answer, so you can proceed with Vaquero’s care. I feel you are close to an answer, and know you are doing everything you can for him. Vaquero is probably as bewildered as you as to what is happening. I pray God’s hand is on you, the vets. and Vaquero himself, and everyone who loves and cares for him. God will show you what to do, and bless you for it. I continue to pray.

Here is a bible verse that i have always kept in my mind. Roman 5:3 says “We rejoice in our sufferings because we know that suffering creates perseverance, perseverance creates character, and character creates confidence which does not dissapoint us because God has poured out his love by the holy spirit who he gave us.”

Our horse had very similar if not the exact same symtons…after tests and a second opinion, it was diagnosed he’d suffered a stroke. That was six years ago and apart from his head being slightly tilted to one side, he’s made a full recovery. Good luck and best wishes.

    Where does Faith come from?
The LORD render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness; (David, speaking to Saul). 1 Samuel 26:23

Notice, The LORD render to every man his * faithfulnes *

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by *His faith*.
    Habakkuk 2:4

His was missed in the translation of Hebrews 10:38
Now the just shall live by faith and Paul was a Jew speaking to Jews quoting the Torah (O.T.) Now the just shall live by *HIS* faith.

John 16:23-24 limits what we can ask for with HIS FAITH.
When we pray, God gives us strength to remind God of His Covenants because he offered us a way of righteousness thru his blood covenant.

I join with you in asking God to complete your joy as restoring Vaquero to full health standing on the forever lasting agreement God offers to those who accept the sacrifice of his only Son. We Believers who have been given righteousness in His sight and faith knowing we can ask our Godly Father who has given us adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, for anything, including a healthy horse that would replace our sadness with joy.

Just a thought , I was thinking back to a horse I cared for with a kick to his head from his pasture buddies and I ended up in my vet book reading looking up staggering and all the illnesses lead to effects in lameness in the hind end except one that caught my eye from your video that causes the fetlock to buckle, under poisonings, lead poisonings, from anything to pastures near industrial areas producing ore and smelting operations ,buy highways exhaust fumes, paint toxicity. still praying.

I believe in God and reflect back always about the poem, Footprints in the Sand. God is with you and your troubles, and your good times, too. He will see you through this and everything else, too. I know you believe In God and find comfort in praying to him, especialy when times are troubling as they are now. I am so hopeful for a good outcome. Linda
