Time is so precious. This very second will never come again. Every second is unique, that moment will never come again.
Time and listening and attention are are gifts to others.
I remember a few years back when i took my kids out. It was pouring down rain outside. I told the kids to put on the grungiest pair of pants on and put their wellies on too. So off we went. They thought we were going to take the car, i told them to find the dirtiest puddle they could find and jump in it. They looked at me as if i had finally lost it. So i said allow me to demonstrate. So i found a muddy puddle and jumped in it. Again they looked at me weird and asked if i was feeling alright. I said i am fine now go find a puddle and jump in it. lol so they did. that was the most fun we had that day. It was something they were not used too but they had a great time and so did i. LOL Fun times. You have to let kids be kids and even if you don’t have much time this is a great way for adults to be kids again too. My neighbours thought i had lost it too, i asked them to join us but they declined they missed out on a fun day.
up until this year I was a stay at home mum and an awesome one at that, now Friday is my favourite day why because after school (I’m a teacher) I pick up my kids we get milkshakes and go to the park for afternoon tea we then go to the swimming pool and play. it is my favourite time because I only have to focus on the two people I love most.
Yes, being willing to share your time is one of the most generous gifts you can give, because time is your life.
That is such an awesome message. It seems in this day and age we forget to have time to be happy. I love the quote “Life Is Not Measured By the Number of Breaths We Take, But By the Moments That Take Our Breath Away.” I find some much joy being with my horses! I enjoy reading your blogs! Your such an inspirational person!
