While at Road to the Horse this weekend I got a chance to catch up with Rick Lamb. He mentioned this ‘review’ of the event from beginning until now and said there was a pretty good section about me in there. Here it is, let me know what you think AND there will be a test. Here it is: can you find a ‘problem’ with the footage that was used of Stacy? I will leave it at that for now and see if you need more hints later.

WHY IS MY HORSE...?

No one taught you the skills you need to work through these things.
Riders often encounter self-doubt, fear, anxiety, frustration, and other challenging emotions at the barn. The emotions coursing through your body can add clarity, or can make your cues indistinguishable for your horse.
Learning these skills and begin communicating clearly with your horse.

My husband and I have been to RTTH twice. Got our tickets for this year and can’t wait. Wish we had been there when you won. I watched this video just now and cried!! You inspire me! Thanks for all you share with us!
Stacy: I couldn’t find anything, but I never can I am not good at that kind of thing. I have watched all of your videos with Roxie and keep watching them. Road to the horse is very interesting to watch and I enjoy Rick Lamb’s shows, they are always interesting. I watch everything I can find on you and think you are terrific. Keep up the good work.

I agree with you Margaret!!
they used footage from the QH congress (bareback/brideleless ride)
When they announced you as the winner, they showed footage of you riding Kernel, not Popcorn, in the obstacle course.
Lisa found it! Not sure how that happened but you are correct, they talk about me winning in 2006 with Popcorn but they showed footage of Kernel from 2007!
hi Stacy,
What a great video! I’m wondering if the “problem” with the footage that you mention is that there’s a picture of you standing on “Mr. T” (aka Popcorn) then jumping off–while Tootie and Rick are talking about the very first Road to the Horse in 2003. Actually, you rode Popcorn in the 2006 competition, right? Anyway, Congratulations on your great success with Road to the Horse and paving the way as the first and only woman to be invited– and to win! =) Noni
Noni-close…that was quite a dismount right? He stood longer in the round pen for it. There is an even bigger mistake somewhere in there…
