You may have heard that we sold our house. Many of you have questions like:
“What will happen to Jac?” (he will come with me)
“Will you still blog?” (yes, and it might even get more exciting)
And “Where are you going?” (this one is a bit more complicated)
We are going to try living nomadically for awhile.
I know we are heading to TX in Feb for a few months but after that we are pretty
wide open to ideas! Visiting friends in PA…visiting CO…really, we are not sure.
Dani on Facebook sent the suggestion to visit Salt Creek Ranch in Vail Valley…CO. Wow. Sounds like a fun place to visit!

You should consider settling near Arkansas City, KS. It is 3 miles north of the OK State Line, 15 miles east of I-35. In the center of the US. Nice small town with an equestrian interest around but nothing really big. Someone living near who can do clinics, lessons and teach about equestrian would be awesome. My niece is a 2x World Champion 13 & Under for Western Pleasure. She is now in the 14 to 18 age group and even though she had a slow start in this age group, she is gaining more momentum than expected and winning the circuits again!
Chester County, PA, specifically southern Chester County. Fox hunt and eventing country, although there are plenty of western riders too. Beautiful rolling hills and miles of riding. Check out the Plantation Field Horse Trials and Country Fair in Unionville. Lots of big farms.
Stacy, if it’s God’s work and on a foster children’s ranch (158 acres) in Texas, would you consider giving a ‘beginners’ training to a staff member at Legacy Ranch kids that has 2 horses and plans to rescue others? Location is near Gonzales, which is near Austin. Ranch has Guadalupe River running through it. It has round pen and facilities for horses. I plan to go back there a do more volunteer work and set up ‘petting facilities’ for cattle,chickens, horses etc. and help the children of all ages. http://familylinkkids.com/legacy-ranch/
You should try Jackson, Ohio. We may be small but it is a nice town. Everyone is as sweet as they come. 🙂
You should come out to Southern California. The weather has been warm, and I doubt that will change despite how badly we could use some rain. But I’m sure a lot of people, myself included, would want to watch you train. You’re an inspiration. Even if you can’t come, I hope your travels go well.

Any plans for Minnesota? I saw you a few years ago at the state fair. I didn’t know who you were back then but I have been a fan ever since. Your Jac videos and blogs are awesome and have been very helpful. Have fun with your new adventures. Hope to see you in Minnesota!

All these comments and I haven’t seen Alabama!! We’d love to see you in good ole Bama state!! My husband had his pic taken with you in Montgomery AL one year, we have plenty of room, pasture and barn space in Tuscumbia AL on our little farm come on by and rest up a few days!!

I am in Rural Idaho and while there are not many BIG facilities here I know that there are many people that, if heard Stacy Westfall was coming, would be Ecstatic. I for one would So love to actually get to meet the person that has so many times been my inspiration! Maybe Give Rigby/Ririe ID a try for a few Months this year…….

You are living life to the fullest. Love reading about Jac and your adventure. I’m 62 bought my first reining horse 2yr Chex Champane Pearl. I’m in NY and she is going on Saturday to Heather Johnson at Creekside in Ringold GA. Lets see if she has it and I’ll go down in March and see if I can get it…so I can relate with taking on a new adventure in life…

Hi Stacy… How fun what your’e doing! we were just talking about you down in Santiago, Chile and how great it would be to have you visit. My fiancé breeds Arabians down there and we were wondering if you, with your family, would be interested in doing clinics in Santiago, Chile and maybe Buenos Aires? We belong to the polo club and lots of folks down there follow you online and would be so excited to have you do a week or so of clinics. If you are interested at all I can help organize it and have them invite you all down. It would be more economical to do that and Buenos Aires too (they are close obviously), but I would be so happy to organize and make it happen if you think it is possible! I’m actually a sculptor and live in NY upstate with my daughter and ride here, just saw you at Equine Affaire… what an inspiration you are..Let me know if it’s something you would be at all interested in… they are a huge horse community down there and it’s such a wonderful country you all would love it.

Come to the Finger Lakes region of NY, it is a breathtaking area (especially on horseback) and full of historical sights! Just try to make it between late spring and fall…winter here can be tough!
What are you going to be doing in Bowie?? I’m from a neighboring even smaller town so I actually know where Bowie is! Would love to come watch some clinics or if you head east to Pilot Point/ Aubrey area you’re in stock horse Mecca….

You should come to Prince Edward Island, Canada! I know you have been to Nova Scotia before. If you come in July or August the weather is great. I will even take you riding on the beach and then we could have a feed of lobster!
