Today's challenge: Do something you did when you were a kid.

Go sit in the barn and tell your horse all your dreams, color with crayons, write a silly story, make a snowman (I prefer snow horses) sit on the floor for no good reason.

It is strange, and interesting, how simply doing something slightly out of ordinary makes you think slightly different thoughts.

Every new day is another chance to change your life.

I am ready for warmer weather so I can help my daughter train her first horse. We have a completely blind horse, about 5 years old, that she plans to ride in walk-trot classes at local horse shows. I’m a bit anxious, but I always enjoyed working with “special” horses when I was young. Thank you for a great post, as always!

So true, just the other day, I was huddled up in my horse’s round bale, just listening to him munching, and talking nonsense to him. when I came back inside, I had a totally different outlook on things. thank you for the great blogs, I am such a huge fan:) hope to meet you and your wonderful family and horses someday! love all your videos!
