Remembering Virginia Tech shooting victim with Horse Show

Last week I received a large package in the mail, too large for my PO box. When I opened it this is what I found inside; a print of a jumping horse, a flyer for a horse show, and a letter asking me to sign the print. “The Emily Jane Hilscher Memorial Horses Show was started as a way for Virginia Tech and incoming competitors to celebrate who Emily was and the memory she left behind.”  Emily was one of the students killed April 16, 2007.

I quickly signed it and had it back out in the mail on Friday April 12. At that time I had no idea what was about to happen on Monday April 16.

Please keep everyone touched by these events in your prayers, and if you get a chance give a word of thanks to these people who are helping to keep the memory of one horse girl alive.
