My name is Presto ‘the horse who lived’

Hello,

My name is Presto and my mom says I need a job.

She’s not my real mom but thats not what I’m supposed to write about today. I’m supposed to write about who I am.

My name is Presto and I like to call myself ‘the horse who lived.’

Mom has an audio book she listens to when she is in the barn and the story is about ‘the boy who lived.’

My name is Presto and I write blogs.

He can’t remember his parents and neither can I.

He has a lightning scar on his forehead. I have a scar on my forehead.

He does magic and my name is Presto.

As you can tell, we are practically the same.

Well, except he’s a boy and I’m a horse.

I’m supposed to include my age: 15 months.

My best friend: Lincoln.

My favorite thing: green grass.

My least favorite thing: horse flies.

Mom says I should tell you that you can write back.

I have to write again next week (she’s making me do this)

The horse who lived,

Such a very smart young horse you are, Presto! Love your blogs! Be good to your momma and help her!

Presto, I have three just like you. Two are 17 months old, one is 5 months old. They are living with uncles right now learning to be horses. After they learned to lead, give their feet and take wormer! They wanted you to know you’re not alone…and life is good for foals who get to live.

Presto’s signature is so cute! I cannot wait to see what you have in store for this guy. I followed you when you were training Jack. How is Jack doing? Looking forward to reading about his story!

Pleased to meet you, Presto! I’m enjoying your mom’s videos introducing you to older horses who are teaching you how to “horse.” ? And at only 15 months you’re turning out to be a good equine teacher yourself. May you have many years of living!!

So happy you lived to tell your story. Keep the magic going!

Presto, you are a handsome son of a gun! At 15 months, if you had an hour meter on your shoulder, how much time has Mom spent developing you? Do you lead? Accept the farrier? Trust dewormer paste? Curious mind wants to know ?

Oh Presto, you are adorable. All appys have special powers, but you are magical. Don’t forget to remind your mom that because of your appitude that you will learn on your own schedule and not a minute before.

Hey, ya, Presto. I’m Laredo. I live with my Hay Lady at the end of a red dirt road in Oklahoma. They tell me I’m a Tennessee Walker. All I know for sure is I’ve got a strut that is fine…fine. People say Hay Lady rescued me..but actually she just listened and heard that I was key to her rescue. You hang in there, kid, and learn lots. People talk if you’ll just take time and listen.

Stacy, I love this. Maybe Presto can get more people to adopt horses like him. It is sad what the industry is doing and those who are thrown away like they don’t matter. Thank you for saving the two you picked out. I know they are in good hands and can’t wait to read more.

I love Presto! I have a 15 month old nurse mare foal also. Her name is Latte and I am following your and Presto’s journey with much interest!

This is great…..especially when I read it to my Great Grand Kids….the youngest is a soon to be five year old girl who plays continually with horses….not baby dolls, horses and a few dogs. She has a collection here at my house and they are the first things she goes to play with…while sitting in one of the saddles I have in my living room. Presto will become her special friend after reading this to her. I am anxious to here more about Presto and “his life”. What a clever horse you are Presto.

Salutations, Presto! Do you have a friend that floats in the sky? Eddie needs a loyal sidekick! So what do you want to duo with this “job” thing? Help people with their dementors? Play a game of quiditch? Travel the world and different terrain for horcruxes? Looking forward to your journey. A fellow wizard loving horse mom.
