So for the last day of school I thought it would be funny to drive Denmark through the school ‘car’ line to pick up the kids.
I’m still not sure if it was embarrassing for the kids…but Denmark was great and I had fun! lol

That is very cool…but if two or three friends had wanted to come along, you would have become a “shuttle team!” When I was a kid, my dad and his friends set up a “wagon train” ride during the Nebraska centennial; it was a real blast, especially for a 13 year old kid!
Oh Stacy- if you only knew how much my daughter would LOVE to be picked up in this manner. She’s almost 6, a kindergartener, and I’m certain she would cry tears of joy if I picked her up with a mini and a cart 🙂 We drove our mini donkey ‘Lily’ with a cart for a while until she had some feet issues and Emily still cherishes the pictures of her in the cart as an 18 month old with Lily in front. You are a GOOD MOMMA!

So cute! Wish my grandkids went to school closer to where we all live! I never thought about it, but I could ride one of my horses to the bus stop and wait to give them a horseback ride home! They’d love that!

I think it was a brilliant idea, and I’ll bet the kids loved it! My granddaughter would have been ecstatic if I had ever brought her horse to ride home from school 🙂

Yes I did, when mine were in grade school, the Oakland “A”s had a mule named Charlie “O”. I had been at his barn for years at least 20 by this time. So my horse and Charlie were waiting for them when they got out to ride home. How exciting.
You can come pick me up anytime with the mini! lol!

Yes my horse obsessed 13 yr old daughter may have loved it, but only if I let her drive! Then she could say she drove home!
