One of the joys of packing has been discovering, or rediscovering, things. Notes from my husband, things written by the kids, and old photos.
I don’t remember this photo. Judging from the belt buckle and the weather it was taken during the summer just after I won Road to the Horse in the spring, 2006. That means it was taken BEFORE the ‘famous’ ride Roxy and I did together in October. I don’t know who took it. It was printed through Shutterfly and shipped to me with a simple note, no signature.

I have 4 minis they keep me busy especially since my husband passed away in Oct but it’s a reason to get up each day I am 69 yrs old and show my minis around. Nova. Scotia. Good luck with your New life in a new place

Beautiful photo Stacy. I have been following your blog for a little while now. And, of course, your wisdom on training horses. Invaluable! My favorite ride of all time is the one where you rode Roxy bareback and bridleless. Amazing!
I will not tell you that I know what your loss feels like. I do not. It is something I can’t even wrap my head around. Don’t want to…(I have been known to cry if one of ours is limping)
I will say that you are an inspiration to me. I will be utilizing YOUR methods when working with our horses. I believe whole heartedly in natural horsmanship and the methods you employ when working with God’s most majestic of creatures.
Keep doing what you’re doing Stacy. You honestly have no idea what it means to those of us who look to you for guidance. Roxy sent Jac to make sure you would be ok. I’m sure it will never stop hurting, but please, don’t ever let the pain stop you.
